cells and a CT scan shows hepatic vein occlusion and splenomegaly.
3. A 50 year old woman presents
with weakness of the left side of her body which lasted approximately 12 hours.
A full blood count showed a platelet count of 620 x 109 .
4. A blood film of a 51 year old
lady shows a white cell count of 221 x 109 with a normochromic
normocytic anaemia.
5. Used to treat essential
thrombocytopenia in pregnant women.
